The questions people ask before starting

  • How long does it take to open my online store?

    A few minutes.

  • Do I need a commercial register?

    No — only if you want to connect a payment gateway to take cards such as Visa and Mastercard.

  • How much does an online store in Egypt cost?

    You can start with no monthly subscription: EGP 2 per order on the starter plan. As your shop grows, move to a fixed subscription with no fee on orders — the prices are in the pricing section. Hosting and the security certificate are included.

  • Do you take a percentage of my sales?

    No, we take no percentage of the order. On the starter plan you pay a fixed EGP 2 per order; on a subscription you pay nothing per order. Your buyers’ money never passes through us — it goes straight to you.

  • Can my buyers pay by card?

    Yes, through your own Paymob account: connect it from your panel with four keys, the money goes to your account, and the order confirms itself when the payment completes.

  • Do I need a courier with an API?

    No. Ship with your own courier or any company, and set zones, prices and delivery times yourself. If you have a Bosta account, connect it, then book the parcel and print its waybill from the order page.

  • Does a buyer need an account to order?

    No — guest checkout is the default. The phone number is the order’s identity. If you want buyers to have an account, that’s a switch you turn on.

  • Is VAT worked out?

    Yes. Prices include VAT, extracted line by line after any discount, at 14% in Egypt. If your shop isn’t registered for VAT, none is charged or mentioned on your pages.

  • What happens when the trial ends?

    You pick a plan and your shop carries on. If you don’t subscribe, nothing is deleted: your products and orders are kept, and come back the moment you do.
